Hi.
I have a Boxer bitch and am picking up our second Boxer this Saturday (dog). I would like to ask if anyone has had this kind of experiance before and any advice for me?
Our bitch is very much a house pet. She goes everywhere with us and even has her bed in our bedroom! She is great with our 2 year old son. I think we are a bit nervous that she will not take to the new puppy.

Think everyone has 2nd thoughts once they've decided. Not my breed, but I'm sure she'll be delighted to have a companion, just make sure she can have time out from the pup - they can be exhausting for dogs & humans. Sometimes it takes a few weeks for the older dog to accept the newcomer, but they usually come round in the end!

I had the same worries when we got our second (basset) but everything was OK and also the next etc. Just make sure you supervise time together until you are absolutely sure there is no problem between them.  Incidently the first one of my lot is still the boss.
