My little dog is being a hand full. No matter what training method I try she does not cooperate. She will sit under the bed and when i try calling her will just stare at me, it takes me five minutes to get her to come out from the bed.  She wont listen when other dogs or people are around. I really am at a loss on how to train her to listen. I need help on how to get her to listen and learn. I've never had a small dog before and find it difficult right now. Thank you for any advice. Have you tried training her to come to you, sit  etc.
for a treat, or is she hiding because she is frightened.
perhaps she is confused, how do you try to get her,
from under the bed?

God that's a cross and a half.  I'm not surprised that you may be having difficulties.

One of my Pomeranian's is a handful at the moment and she's only 5 months old.  She's uncontrollable and is making life difficult for everyone.  I have started obedience training with her as she's one extremely intelligent dog.  I've always said about Pomeranian's that they are definitely a big dog in a little dogs body.

Unfortunately people think that with a little dog that things will be easier but it's not necessarily so.  Maybe a good training club will be a good idea for you to.  I know that Miniature Schnauzer's seem quite an active breed to for their size.
