lgould  said they feed dried fish and the dogs eat it in solid block does she/he  mean frozen blocks of fish like they sell in p.a.h. and is it fed still frozen?

Plain dried fish should be OK but be sure that it IS plain.

Dried, salted fish (ling) can and does kill dogs. Friends of ours lost their golden retriever when he got at a line of drying ling and ate the lot.
