sorry not to have replied sooner.
I'm importing a borzoi in June and I just want to check out all the routes. I know I can drive and come through the eurotunnel.
I can fly him into Europe and take the Euro Tunnel. I can also fly him into Heathrow on non approved airlines and have him out in 3 days on a short stay quarantine. Only one company offers the 3 day short stay and I'm trying to find out more about it and other routes or companies that will bring him over other than me having a 3 day drive and 3 days back again.
many thanks for your replies.

Gail,
Here's Defra's website on importing animals into the UK, in case you haven't come across the requirements. http://www.defra.gov.uk/animalh/quarantine/index.htm
good luck with your new baby.
