Im having a bit of trouble with the lady that lives next door to us, she complains about everything, she has now started to complain about our dogs barking, they only bark if someone comes to the door or they hear someone they dont know.she says they bark when im not in but when they know im coming home they shut up,  We have 4 dogs all kenned and looked after well and we own our home, im just wondering what she can do about them,our other neighbour is fine and she says the dogs do bark but only if they hear someone she does not seam to have a problem with them. what do you thimk i should do? it would break my heart if i had to let any of them go, i've tryed talking to her but she is a nasty old women and alot of people on our street dont get on with her. i dont want to fall out with anyone but my dogs come first, any advice on what i should do would be so greatfull

My advice to you would be to set up some sort of recording device, so you know (and can prove if necessary) just how frequently your dogs DO bark.  Then contact the dog warden, explain the situation and find out if your neighbour is being reasonable.
