I Am considering buying a bouvier as a pet, not for breeding.  I Already own an elderly E.S. Spaniel, will the both of them get on, although elderly she is extremely lively, she as been, and still is a good gun dog.

Also how would a bouvier react to the gun, not to work over a gun, just to accompany at a shoot.

There have been bouvier being worked as police dogs (in fact I think they've just taken on another one) so I wouldn't imagine much problem with the gun as long as you introduce it correctly.  The mix well with most breeds.
