Not that I have tried this, but are there any good health effects, or indeed bad one's, from giving yer dog milk OR Guiness? Not together!
Thoughts..?
Hi Cain, I wouldn't give milk as may dogs are intolerant to it. And as for Guiness, I wouldn't give it to a dog as I expect it could be dangerous! But Guiness does have its uses with regards to humans! Coming from the emerald isle my granda used to say Guiness was great for killing the worms in kids!!!!!!

Dogs are often intolerant to the lactose and casein in milk and it contains nothing that cannot be provided by a more appropriate source.
Guinnes is made from fermented yeast amongst other things, I try to avoid feeding fungus and mould to my dogs.

CAIN, I'd have to ask....WHY??????LOL :D

My dogs get a little bowl of milk every night,it has just become a habit now and they really look forward to it. None of them have developed any intolerance to milk, never had dicky tummies or the squits.I wonder just how many dogs are intolerant to milk???
Stay away from Guiness,i'm not sure if that's a joke or what :( I'm surprised more people havnt commented on this
I give my dog milk with her breakfast and she loves it

Ours get a some milk with dinner, normally waterd down :) One boy get's a drop of beer from the palm of my hand has he likes it but no more.
