Luke is on the 3rd week of his trial of Z/D for his ear condition, said to be caused by an allergy. He is 2 years old and had just begun to settle down quite nicely from his "puppyness". However on Sunday he chewed up a new pair of my knickers..:-( and in the afternoon when we popped out for half an hour we returned to find the remains of a wooden spoon shredded all over the kitchen floor. Yesterday he was reasonably calm, but today he is barking a lot more than usual - now - won't let me enjoy champdogs :-(. So - could it be the food? I have an appointment with the vet for review a week today.

my blue has ear problem to always chewing and barking but she has surlan which clears it up for a couple od days then back to square one,she been on antbotics to.

Z/D is a Hill's prescription diet prescribed by the vet for a trial period, to see if it helps with the underlying allergy (which I wasn't aware of until the vet examined Luke's ears under anaesthetic). If not, the vet says he will need to be on permanent medication.
