My friend found a very good breeder of greyhounds. She was on the waiting list and the breeders best champion bitch has given birth. The puppies were due today but they were born 1 week early.Five puppies were born. Unfortunately they didnt get the nutrients that they needed from their mother so one of them died. Another one is very sick and the breeder is keeping all the puppies with her much longer in order to make sure theyre alright. My friend has high hopes of showing and breeding and she has produced many happy and healthy champions. When she heard that this particular bitch was having a litter she was very excited. She is worried that the puppies may develop health problems later on because they didnt recieve the needed nutrients. do you think it would be okay for my friend to purchase a puppy from this litter or do you think it will get problems? Me and my friend would be very grateful for your replies!
thankyou

No one could really say. The only thing is for the breeder to take the pups when they are older to have a heath check at the vets. As you say your friend is experienced in breeding, only she could make the decision of whether she wants one of these pups and discuss it with the other breeder.
