Topic Dog Boards / Health / Worming after Colitis
- By Sarahlolly [gb] Date 29.10.05 08:45 UTC
Hi

My dog is due to be wormed but has recently suffered with Colitis (2 weeks ago) - should I go to the vets to have him wormed just in case the at home wormer agrevates this?

Thanks.

Not sure what you mean by home wormer - if you mean those bought in a pet shop, I never think they are very effective anyway. Personally, I'd leave him for a month or so before doing him - he's not going to come to any harm if his worming is delayed, but it may save him another upset tummy.
