No but had the same problem when I fed Baker's complete for a few days once, never again :)
We feed bakers, is it bad? or do you think it just disagreed with your dog?

It didn't agree with my lot and looking at the colour of some of the nuggets it doesn't look very natural food ;)
If your dog is thriving on it and is happy and healthy then stick with it unless you feel there is a better food for your dog :)

Sorry, but feel I have to say that Bakers is one of the worse foods you can give a dog...just my hunble opinion of course...but it's full of cr*p!!! All the best, Dawn
Having been on here earlier we have been to asda and bought some winalot, i agree the colours in bakers do look very artificial, not that tyler has been showing any signs of bad health. He needed more food so we thought we would try something different. He is hyper but only in certain situations that excite him. Does anyone have any recommendations for dogs food.

Well, there is a discussion ongoing in the forum about food types...maybe have a scroll through and check out everything and make up your own mind...fwiw I feed and swear by Nutro, all the best, Dawn
It's in the discussions in the FEEDING board, go check it out!! Some interesting comments and not MUCH falling out!!! LOL :D
Pedigree has quite a high protein level and i did find that both bakers and pedigree sent my BC completly round the bend. It was like a child high on colourings and sugar! She is now fed burns and is much better as it is a much more natural food. Nature diet is very similar in that it is natural.
As for ZD - i can't remember whats in it, but being supposedly for dogs with allergies i would've thought it should be ok?!
Thankyou i will have a look on the other thread, i have heard of burns do they sell it in normal pet stores, it's not soemthing i have really thought about till i read this topic.
Burns is only sold in select retail outlets, so that the manufacturers can have more control over things i believe. I used to buy it over the internet, its very easy. Now i get it order in at work (vets) and my dog club now sells it too. The burns website will probably give you a list of local stockists.

Burns do mail order, they used to do free delivery on 15kg bags but don't know if they still do.

I used to feed Pedigree, no problems with behaviour I don't think, but it started to give my boy colitis so we switched to James Wellbeloved, and so far no problems! :-)
