I have a 4 year old portugese podengo male  and I am interested in bredding him..I live in Toronto Canada.Was wondering if there are any females pogendos out there?

God, they are rare in the UK, haven't a clue but I would think that there aren't many in Canada either!

One thing I would say is I would test your dog for the normal health problems ie hip scoring and eye testing.  It's OK for the original breeders in the country of origin to say that there are no problems but if they've never been checked how do they know?  I know a few breeds that have been imported over the years where people thought that there weren't any problems but when they've been hipscored etc. some problems have occurred.
