My friend has a labrador that is constantly scratching. She rubs her paws over her ears and scratches under her front "armpits" with her back paws. She does this when we are out walking aswell as at home, and seems to do it more when she gets excited. So far she has seen four vets and had blood tests, skin tests, ear swabs etc, all revealing nothing untoward. She has also changed her onto an additive free food, but still she keeps on scratching! I am beginning to wonder if it is more of a psychological thing, maybe like a bad habit rather than a physical problem. Any ideas anyone??
