Hi Tohme, I recently asked opinions on folic acid for canine mothers to be.You said that it was recommended, so when should I start giving it to her? She is due in season end of january '06.

I would give it to her a month prior to her season if possible, but certainly from the first day of mating.  Dogs can tolerate up to around 5mg/day but you may need considerably less say 1.5mg/day, depending on weight.
