my GSP has been getting wet in the recent downpours we have been  having. I dry her ears but she seems to have frayed ends to them & what I would call scabby skin in places. Has anyone come across this with their long eared dogs & why does it happen? Thanks.

I have a stafford bitch who gets dry skin on the edges of her ears. I put vaseline on it to soften them up and it seems to work wonders.
