After recently being widowed, we also lost our beloved border terrier Tom within 10 days.  I have three sons, 10, 8 and 3.  We are looking for a tibetan terrier, as we have been told by a friend (who shows her two) that they are lovely family dogs, and good with children.  The puppy would be given lots and lots of love and would be a companion for myself too, helping me to get out of the house to take it for walks, and to be with once the children are in bed.  Although it would be lovely to be able to have one before Christmas, which we are going to find very tough this year, I appreciate that due to timing this may not be possible.

They are the best people to contact for details of reputable breeders. Make sure any puppy you buy has parents who have had all the relevent health tests. Good Luck.
