when say your breeding a black masked bordeaux with a non masked bordeaux, what are your chances of non masked puppies? is the black mask a more dominant gene. i'm finding it impossible to understand any of the information that i have come across on the net! what little i can find.

i bred a red staff with a black mask dog to a red bitch with no mask last year and out of a litter of 6 we had only 2 with black masks. and as they have gotten older the mask has fadded
next year i am using a bitch with a black mask and a dog the same and i hoping that most in the litter will have a nice strong black mask
thanx . does this mean that theres a good chance that there'll be non masked??
