The updated draft copy of the animal welfare bill was placed on DEFRAs website, it is quite long, three or more pages I believe.  Makes interesting reading but quite complicated to understand the full implications with only reading it once as I did today.

One piece I did pick up on was that the Council can appoint inspectors to visit premises (if unlicensed activities are suspected) other that Council officials, although it does not say RSPCA Inspectors can I presume that is who they are refering to?  Has anyone else read it through yet?
