I live in Glasgow, and I really need to find a mally breeder, Can anyone help?

i know mal owners around that area. are you looking for a breeder to get a puppy??  if you are, i suggest you contact the breed club as they will be able to advise you on the breed and reputable breeders.  http://www.amwa.co.uk  or  http://www.thealaskanmalamuteclub.co.uk/

Unfortunately, the AMCUK recommended breeders list is a tiny one and doesn't include anyone in Scotland or Wales :)

you should really be visiting kennels before deciding on a pup anyway, so maybe a trip down south would be a good thing. if folks aren't willing to travel for a good pup bred by by responsible breeders maybe they shouldnt be getting one anyway.

I agree about the visiting kennels before purchase. Not everyone has the ability to travel 100's of miles to a recommended breeder however ....and if they can find a reputable breeder closer to home it may help :)

ALL recommended breeders of the AMCUK list have had to produce a litter BEFORE being accepted on the list .. people had to  buy from those litters  ....before the breeders were on the list ;) It is worth bearing in mind

With good guidance as to the health tests, age of bitch and dog, endorsements , contracts etc, the OP should be able to get a well bred puppy, bred ethically without travelling too far

Hi , If you live in the UK , try the nation Kennel Club, they hold a list of breeders in all areas of the UK, whenever you search up the breed your looking for, click the area your in ( in your case scotland ) and see what the results are, they usualy are about 1-2 breeders of most dogs in each county,whenever you have the results shown, the breeders e-mail is there too with address, post code etc.

Go to dog register, then go to puppy sales list

Note: you'll have to register, if you want to search up breeders, this is usualy done within 3 minutes
