last night i was sat watching tv and my 18 month speyed gsp bitch (speyed at 6 months) went to mount my leg, i told her no very firmly and she stopped from doing it on my leg, but carried on doing a thrusting movement.

this is the first time it has happened, might it happen again? because i really do not want it to!

One of my spayed bitches, aged 10½ years still does imaginary humping every evening after her supper. We just tell her not to be so silly!

Hi,

Sorry but you will just have to get used to it!  Sometimes they do, sometimes they don't, I have 3 bitches, 2 never have, but the 3rd thinks she is a male in heat, and you only have to stretch your leg out and she will try to hump it. She also cocks her leg up whilst urinating too. (Very confused dog!) It could be worse at least it is not a male dog humping your leg! Your dog will stop if you tell her too, but you probably have one that will continue on and off, sometimes it is just in their nature. Sooorry!
