can anyone shed anylight on why some dogs eat dirty nappies and how to stop them from eating them thxs in advance saffie

probably the same reason why they eat lots of other nasty things aswell.
As for stopping them eat them ... well... put the nappies in the bin :D

Put them where they can't get them.  It is perfectly natural for dogs to be attracted to excremetn, especailly those of an infant.

they are in the bin they are even in nappy sacks i thought they may have been a reason for it i will just have to but them in the bin outside in future

oow it's distgusting isn't it, only my male westie would do that but the girls wouldn't dream of it, as soon as i've took the kids nappies off they go straight in the wheely bin outside.
