Hello. I have a silver dapple shorthaired dachshund and am hoping she is pregnant. I took her to the vet today, but he was unable to tell me if she was definitely carrying pups or not. He said she may be or may not be, it might just be too early to tell.He wasn't sure if it was false or not. She has seemed to gain weight and does have yellowish white milk coming out of all her nipples. Is this true or false pregnancy? Her and my male are always together...I hope she is!

I hope she's not. Such haphazard methods are no way to ensure a healthy litter.
