I have to confuss to not being that clued up on male dogs, well more to the point male puppies. Oscar is only my second male puppy. My last ones "balls"  were clearly noticeable by 16 weeks. Oscar, well, you can't even tell he's meant to have any. I know Shelties are a breed that can have retacted testicals. So I don't know if I should be worrying yet? Or was my last pup a fast grower and I shouldn't be too worried just yet.

How old is he?  My sister has a young Chi male, and his took a while to "show up", so to speak!  If you're very worried, take him to the vet, they will put your mnd at ease.

In Cavaliers people don't seem to worry until they are several months old. I think most breeds take a while to drop. :-)
