Have recently changed the girls food from burns to autarky after Freya was poorly over the summer. After 3 sets of injections and 3 sets of antibods  Freya has developed dry skin and had a scab where the injection was. Is this norm and any suggestions of something for the dry skin?

Dry coats/skins can only really be cured from the inside out ie by feeding. Omega 3 oils & vitamin E come to mind, before we had these available I would add a small amount of sunflower marg to food. The O£ & Vit E are better I think. I also use Quistel shampoo when the dogs are casting & at least once every three shampoos(all my shampoos are natural I use Doreen Paige's exclusively apart the Quistel) I also always use leave in conditioner(made by a homoeopath/herbalist friend) after every shampoo.

Can't advise re the scabs never seen any on my dogs but they rarely go to the vets except for initial vacs etc
