Topic Dog Boards / Health / Spots on Belly

My dogs got spots on his belly on one side of his penis.  Some are red and some seem to have yellow heads, I have been away for a week and just got back, Im going to bath him tomorrow and make an appointment at the vets.  Has anybody any idea what it is?  I thought allergy but its only on one side of his belly.  He had a little rash about 2 months ago and the vet gave him massive antibiotics saying it was a skin virus.......  Can he keep getting "skin viruses"? if so how can I stop it?  (sorry about the amount of questions its just these antibiotics cost me about £35 and I dont want to have to keep buying them if I can work out whats causing it)

My boy had something that sounds very similar a week or so ago. Like Dennysmum, I just gave it a wipe with some neat hibiscrub on a bit of cotton wool. It cleared up within a day or two.

I buy it from the pharmacy counter of my local Boots but I'm sure any chemist might have it. It's about £3 for a 500ml bottle.

Hibiscrub should do the trick I think they get it sometimes from the piddles.

The other thing about antibiotics is you don't want to over use them.
