Tell them in writing that the KC papers will be forwarded as soon as you receive them. That way, they'll have proof that the puppies were sold as KC Reg & can take action against you if you don't register them.

SEnd of the application as soon as you know pups are going to survive (at 10 days to two weeks old), found this sves a lot of hassle, especially if they don't like the names you have picjed and need to send the forms back, or there si a back log and they take the full 28 days they say to allow.

One litter 7 years ago took over 6 weeks for the papers to come back, and I only just got them back on time.

I would take photocopies of the litter registration form and give each owner a copy, along with a letter stating that the registration document will be forwarded to them as soon as you receive it. If you can also get a certificate of posting, or similar, from the post office you could then show this to the potential owners so that they know that you have sent the form off and are just waiting for the paperwork to be returned.

If you get them off pronto you may have them back in time.
