Please make sure that you buy from a reputable breeder that does not mate a bitch prior to 2 years old, allow them to have more than one litter every 12 months and no more than 3 in their lifetime.  Breeding stock should be hip scored (breed average 13) and both parents should meet the breed standard in both looks, temperament and hunting ability.

The Weimaraner Association and the Weimaraner Club of Great Britain have guides to the breed and lists of puppies from club members who are required to adhere to the codes of conduct/ethics.
