Hi
I am due to get my new puppy soon and really dont know what would be best to feed him, Could anyone please give me some advice ?? Ideally i want to be feeding a complete food but there is so many i dont know what is the best. I dont want to be starting off with the wrong food, as i have read alot of post on here about people needing to change food because of loose stools...etc. I want what is best for my puppy from the minute i get him home.
Any advice please ??
Thanks.

Any reputable breeder will give you a diet sheet with your puppy, which will tell you what to feed him/her :)
For example this will be the food they are used to, so reduce the chances of upset tums.

Bearing in mind that your breeder has reared at least one adult dog to a sufficient quality to make you want to buy a puppy off her :) I would say whatever they recommend would be a very good starting point.  Even if that proves to be not suiting in the long run your breeder is probably the best port of call for an alternative suited to the breed and her lines.

I agree with the others, take advise from the breeder. If you find the food the breeder is feeding doesnt work out slowly change it over by mixing it.
Not all foods suit every dog its a case of finding out what suits you and you dog :)
