I've just been working out next years judges for Championship shows for my breed (Pharaoh Hounds) and I've realised that I have to go 6 months between shows with CCs on offer.  In our breed the last set of tickets is at Midland Counties and the next isn't until Crufts! As I'm not showing my own dogs at Crufts next year (the judge doesn't suit) it'll be WELKS in April before I can show where CCs are on offer! Even if I did go to Crufts it'd be a 5 month gap.  The allocation of CCs for various breeds never ceases to amaze me.

Join the club! Munsters are just the same. We have been asking the Kennel Club to change our allocaton for more years than I can remember. Do they listen? No :( They recently gave us another set of CC's....at SKC in August. Why not Gundog Breeds of Scotland? At least then we'd have a show in winter ;)

I have the opposite problem, Cavs have so many CCs I would completely exhaust my boy by May if we went to all of them. Anyway, it's always the same 3 (gorgeous) dogs that win them so I am wondering why I keep trying!! :-)
