i have sort of voluntered to be on the commitee of the swimming club my kids go to :o
Cleared it with mum as she would have to babysit,
And only need to go to 4 meetings a year. But WHAT does it involve????
I have never done anything like thios before, and am only 28 so dont know if i would even be able to give any new thoughts to the club.

All committees are different depending on the organisation etc :) You could get asked to be involved with fundraising, organising galas, club kit, finance, membership etc etc. There's usually somebody who knows what they are doing so they should be able to point you in the right direction :)
