Ummmm my 10 WEEK old female labrador puppy humps her toys....... and sometimes peoples legs.. she has done it 5 times already in a week.... IS THIS NORMAL????? :o

Caseys terrible for this, she likes to clean you first preferably the ears, rather enthusiastically, and before you know it shes on your back. We're well aware of the warning signs now so quickly move.

It's just excitement, Abbielab.  Usually bitches grow out of it pretty fast though.

Poppy (7 month old CKCS) humps one of her Mister Twister toys, nothing else, just him.  She wraps both her front legs round the upper part of him, then her back legs round the lower part of him and humps!  When she's finished, she lays there cuddling and licking him! - bless!!

Mine is 2 and a half and still does it and my sisters dog is 16year old and still loves visitors legs.

pups hump their littermates from about 5 weeks old-whatever the sex! its perfectly normal

my nellie does it.she has always does it,shes not confused,if you let her do it she..er ..actually rubs her "bits" on your foot, & get very frenzied!shes spayed,did it before & did it after!

My friends Beardie bitch (3) and her Tibetan bitch (21mnths) take it in turn to hump each other.

My friend's bitch humps all the other dogs in the house, it drives her mad!! :-D
