MY 20 WEEK OLD SPRINGER PUP SEEMS TO SLEEP FOR UPT 3 HOURS DURING THE DAY, HAS ABOUT AN HOUR OR 2 'AWAKE', FULL OF LIFE, THEN GOES BACK ASLEEP AGAIN, TO DO THE SAME OVER.  SHE IS SLEEPING OVERNIGHT FOR ABOUT 5 - 6 HOURS.  IS THIS NORMAL?

Your the lucky one. Try having a pup that just will not have a time out. Enjoy the breaks while it lasts. It is quite normal at this age.

Thanks for that.  I was beginning to wonder as everyone says that Springers are very lively.  Of course being only a pup, I did think it was ok, but you never know do you.  She is sleeping better at night, even though she wakes at 5 am wanting to go out!!!!!!!  thank you
