Now that we are talking about getting fit can anyone suggest exercises to make my arms stronger. I do Thai Boxing so I need to strengten my upper body, my legs are pretty strong as I do lots of cycling, I used to ride alot and I do lots of walking, I am thinking of taking up yoga or pilates again for flexability I stopped because I found them boring as anything. I am afraid of water so swimming is out, I will be ordering my punchbag next week so i will be doing lots of bag work.
Thanks in advance

Hi,
For biceps I have found the best thing to be curls with weights. Get a weight (anything-bottle of water for instance) and start with your arm straight, then bend to about 90% (just past) and then straighten-repeat.
For triceps and shoulders go to the kitchen! If you have a corner where the worktop meets at 90% stand against it facing outwards. Then push yourself up and down using your arms. You don't have to take your feet of the floor just relax your legs and let your arms take the weight.

Thank you I mainly want to work my triceps as my biceps are fine due to carrying around heavy plates at work and having Abby pulling my arms off when she was younger lol.
