Topic Dog Boards / General / Hudson Finds his Heckles
- By Melodysk [gb] Date 22.04.02 11:53 UTC
We have realised that Hudson has discovered his heckles in the past week :) Before Saturday last week I dont think we ever saw him put them up (we call them his feathers for some reason) but since then , any strange smells , odd looking things or strange situations and they fly up. Taking him for a walk down Ermine Street this morning (which is a mud track in the middle of fields more or less , where we have taken him before , but not for a few weeks ) they were flying up left right and centre ..really quite funny. He doesn't growl or show any undue concern so I am assuming this is just an age thing. He will be 20 weeks on Wednesday ...anyone else found this?

Its about that age when dogs do learn to put their backs up Melody and when they do put them up I find it takes ages for them to go back down again. Like you say, little things get them up, even a sudden breeze, or a shadow. It is quite funny, I don't think they know what they are doing half the time, must be a learning curve for them.

Kaani first discovered her's on Saturday too :)
I'd say they were clones if they weren't boy and girl :D
