Has he had his anal glands checked and expressed if necessary?

Hi, yeast infections are fairly common in paws, turns the hair a reddish shade. Also some dogs can start chewing/licking feet/legs as a bad habit, I hda one that did for years, nothing wrong with him at all, it was just like biting nails.....

I have one that goes through phases of doing this causing her to have discoloured feet. It is a bad habit with ehr, she does it when stressed or bored. It started when she had to have an Elizabethan collar on when she had an eye ulcer.
thankyou for your replies.....i use non bio soap powder.....if its a yeast infection would mycel the foot powder work or would it be favourite to go to vet...my other boys did this but grew out of it when they reached 18 months or so....i am hoping once he is at stud he will stop it....but in the meantime i would like to explore other avenues....
Please get the urines tested for diabetes, as this is one of the earliest symptoms. You can also use Mycil foot powder to relieve the itching between the toes,as this will clear up yeast or mild infections and help the healing process.
