My wife and I just bought a German Shepard puppy from a local breeder.  She seemed to be healthy while we were there, but now that we are home she's having a lot of diarhea and is panting and whining almost continuously... has anyone encountered this before or is she just nervous to be in a new home?  Thank you for the help

Sometimes bringing a puppy into a new home can make them anxious and cause them to have diarhea - but I would be concerned if she is panting and whining.  I would get her up the vet for a good check over and would take a specimen of the diarhea with you so that the vet can check this.

this happend to me two days after bringing my dog home.  he was'nt drinking and I was giving him water with my childrens calpol syringe (sorry for spelling) until I took him to vet who gave me tablets and food that was better on him stomach.
