Is it ok to give my dog a marrow bone straight from the freezer, or should I defrost it first?

Thanks

My answer would be it depends on the dog. There is nothing wrong with givign bones frozen BUT with mine they tend to go through and out the other end rather faster than I would like :D

Also  IMHO the dog would do better with smaller bones such as ribs, that still give pleasure without wearing away their teeth.

I give frozen bones and they are fine. They dont go manky so quickly in warm weather either.
