I have come across many of these dogs in France - bergers de Pyranees.
and can find no trace of them over here. They are a smallish dog, similar to a Little Lion Dog and Tibetan terrier. I'd be very grateful if anyone can give me any information on whether there are any in this country.

The answer is yes they are in UK, though of course uncropped, as cropping was outlawed in Britain over a 100 years ago.

I would imagine they may have a breed club. Tel the KC on 0870 606 6750 and ask for the secretaries number. they are a new breed, so expect to go on a waiting list for someone planning a litter!
