Hi there

I have a GSD who has weak pasterns, in fact she is now flat footed.  She was 16 months when I first got her and she was like it then.  I would be interested to see a photo.

I know puppies can do strange things with their pasterns when they are teething, how old is your newf ?

I don't know how old your puppy is, but over exercise with free running can do this.

Hi

My newf??? Are you refering to the Newfoundland breed?? I dont have a nefoundland puppy lol, i just said large breed :-)

Anyway lol my puppy is 4 months old and we do not allow puppy to free run, this problem started at about 12wks of age, and since noticing we have limited exercise to going in the yard for a "pee-pee" and back indoors again.

xx

Can you have a word with your breeder about it.  It might be something that happens naturally in your breed.  Whatever it is ;)
