I am hoping that someone can help me, we are thinking about getting a Yorkie for our 11 year old daughter but I would like to talk to someone who would be able to answer a few questions -about whether this is a good choice in dog

Contact one of the breed clubs listed at the bottom of the page here . Ask them to put you in touch with local breeders who would let you meet their dogs or find out where there is a show sheduling the breed where you can go along and ask questions.
