can my 10 week old staffy bitch pup have a kong and what should i put in it etc . can she have pigs ears or similer
You can put loads of things in them, mine like cheese and mince in theres, you can put in dog food, liver cake. Mine love pigs ears, but always supervise your dog with them as they can get stuck in their throat.
try freezing the kongs after stuffing :-) lasts longer and are nice and cold for when teething :D

what kind of biscuits can she have at a young age as pet shop told me pigs ears to strong and most puppy treats are for 4 months and older . at the moment shes only ever had eukanuba puppy dried food as both her parents were show dogs
if you put liver cake in the search on here you will find one or 2 reciepes for it. i gave my pup these tasty treats at that age, only in small pieces thou. good for training. :-)
You can alos stuff the kong with the euk, use one of the feeds to put in instead of feeding it in a bowl.

I have 9 kongs in total , somedays i'll fill them all up and leave them out for the boys to fight over :D. Cheese , liver ,peants, egg shells from breakfast, leftovers and whatevers tasty but not to fattening or potentially unhealthy for the dog.
I have the receipe for Liver Cake. My dog sits looking at the over door while its cooking.
PM me if anyone wants it

as my pup has only eaten dry food would liver cake give her the runns
It might give her the runs at first. Try giving her a little when you are around and gradually build it up. That way you know that if she needs the garden quickly you are around to let her out. Mine took quite a long time to get used to meaty treats as though he is a staffie he has quite a sensitive tum. He now eats almost anything from meaty raw bones to liver cake. He still cant eat mince though, cooked or raw, even when thoroughly drained of fat etc. All dogs are different. Give it a try and see what she can cope with. I find cheese is always good for youngsters though :)

Suitable treats for a puppy include little pieces of her normal food (in your case a piece of her Eukanuba) or a tiny piece of raw mince, or a piece of cooked chicken ... personally I don't give my dogs any of the packaged 'dog treats' which are on sale. When they're adult and have settled digestions pieces of cheese, frankfurter, chicken, sausage etc are all much healthier IMO.
:)
