Does anyone have the name of a really tough one? Not the thin stringy rope ones that snap in a heartbeat?

The Flexi leads are pretty sturdy but you need to buy the tape one, not the cord one.

Flexi do a tape one and for the life of me I cant think what its called, ive got one for Alfie and it is really strong :)

The Flexi Lead comes in the cord or webbing which is much stronger.  Be warned though, the webbing one usually has a big handle to hold.

Cheers the younger one is on restricted exercise due to two operations but i have him on a horse lunging rein and to say its causing more damage roflmao i have tripped over it 50x the poor dog has wrapped himself around it double that!
Its certainly a health and safety issue :D
