My 12 week old Bearded Collie has been on his first few walks to the park, which he's enjoyed, but to get there we have to cross a busy main road.  As soon as we get to the road he gets frightened and barks at every passing car, bus etc.  We've had to carry him across a couple of times (as he wouldnt move!) but I'm not sure thats the right thing to do?  He also barks at joggers in the park and a GSD on a lead!  I sat with him on a bench this morning by a road that runs through the park for about 30 mins and he sat watching the traffic passing through, although he got up on the bench to sit closely to me, but started barking once we were walking again.  Any advice please?
