Hi Guys,

Just wondering how i can stop Deon chewing shoes in the middle of the night, last night while my mum was asleep he climbed on top of her chest of drawers and chewed her shoes!

He has a variety of chew toys so i dont know if this is helping or not?

Any help would be appreciated.

Hide them in a cupboard...:)  Sorry, can't be more help than that. If we leave anything out, Breeze will grab hold of it, in fact, she would even try to take them off our feet. My house has never been so tidy.

Sounds like he is getting on really well, bet you are pleased you gave this lovely cheeky boy a good home.

The easiest way is to shut the door to the room with the shoes! If that's not possible, shut the shoes in a cupboard. If he can't get to them, he can't chew them! ;)

You don't say how old she is but if she is a puppy this is normal behaviour just like in young children so she needs her chew toys.  With our GR puppy we moved all shoes out of her way and if she did get one we took it off her and rewarded her with one of her toys she was allowed to chew.  She still chews things but now ignores shoes.
