Chester slept through the night! Not a sound! What a proud Mum I am. I woke this morning in a complete panic, because Chester had not cried all night, I was worried because he is not well at the moment, he has Kennel cough, and I had not expected for him to settle at all.Worried that he might be really unwell, I leapt out of bed at 6am heart pounding, to find an eagerly waiting Chester, complete with wagging tail :)
Thank you to all of you that offered your advice,many of you said give it a week, he has been home a week today, so you were right, it was hard to listen to his crying, but it did get less every night, had you not encouraged me to leave him I might have given in.I do think that the hot water bottle made a big difference, he also has a ticking clock, the one that used to keep ME awake!!
