We had Copper at a cottage in Crinan in February and we're going up the west coast of Scotland in October.  For the rest of the summer we got fed up trying to find cheap dog friendly places so we bought a static caravan and we take him away every weekend.  He loves it!  Spoilt dog :)

Hi

We took our two Shar Pei to North Devon, a little place on Exmoor called Lynmouth and stayed in a lovely stone cottage.  The boys loved it being out all day and I think we picked the hottest week ever in July so couldn't complain about the weather.  We had to stay in the shade a lot though becuase of the boys but my husband is not a sunbather so he was happy too.

Everywhere we went welcomed the boys and they enjoyed going into the shops and pubs.  We also went to a lovely sandy beech where they had their first swim which was a bit of an experience.  Shar Pei can swim although not sure they like it!

We will definately go back next year although I do think this country is expensive and it cost us more than a week in the sun somewhere but it was worth it.
