Does anybody else give Allbran as an extra supplement to a diet to help with occasional constipation ?

Helps keep my OH regular so expect it would help with Moose :D

Would it not be better just to feed a more laxative diet?

She is on JWB and also have veggies as well.

liver is a good laxative but I have heard that bran does the job too :)

Why change her diet as JWB is a good dried complete food? Yes bit may not suit her totally but some natural roughage isn'y a bad thing ?

Bran isnt exactly a natural roughage for a dog!

I think I would add a couple of chopped (or grated) carrots to her food - being a lab, she will only too happily gobble up the extra calories - which she doesn't really need :)
