Topic Dog Boards / General / Suggestions of cause please?

Hi,
my staffy is 19 months now. He has always had very sensitive skin on his ears (as alot of staffy's do). And he has a habit of biting in-between his claws aswell.

Only recently I have noticed that his belly button has become very infamed and bloody, and where it used to be an inny, it's now an outy. There are 2 nipples next to his belly button that are also red and have been bleeding.

Wondered i anyone has had this problem with their staffy, or indeed any other breed.

Any info or advice would be very useful to me!

Thank you

Ashleigh

Hi

Not had this problem with a staff but my Dobe used to lick his feet constantly vet could find nothing wrong and decided it was just a bad habit - he suggested putting pink germolene on them - that worked - one mouthful of that and he stopped it immediately.
