Last night my 7month old collie puppy, got me up twice in the night
with the runs, he also bought up a bit of clear flem. This morning he was going number 2's every hour, but has settled a little now, apart from being tired from little sleep, he seems OK except I can't get him to drink anything which I know is important. Is there anything I can put in water to make it more appealing?
If it carries on for another day we will take to vets.

i have heard that a little oxo cube ( or similar) dissolved in the water can help to get a dog to drink. Think i picked that up from some other owners of sled dogs, who have to take on lots of water before running. the dogs that is not the owners lol
dont use too much as its very salty.

Try adding some glucose or honey - it's VERY important that your youngster doesn't dehydrate.  Although TBH I'd go the vet this afternoon/evening if he's still not drinking - far better safe than sorry :(

personally I would go to the vets as fluids are extremely important.
if you pinch his skin and it takes time to relax then he is dehydrated and can become even more ill quickly.
I have fed fluids to my dogs with a spoon in the past with a little sugar and salt mixed in.
