can someone please help.could any1 let me know wud a 6year old staffy dog accept a 8week old bitch staffy.could they live together without fighting as the bitch matures as i have 2 youg children an wouldnt like this to happen.     thankyou

As long as yor 6yr old is OK with other dogs then you should`nt ` have a problem....... and getting a Bitch when you already have a dog is the best idea....  as they will get along much better when the pup is mature.....

Not forgetting that one of them needs to be neutered unless you can guarantee to keep them seperate for at least 3 wks twice a year (not usually possible in a normal household with young children around.)

i cant see there being a problem as most dogs get on with bitches, yes you will have to keep them apart or have the dog done when your bitch is in season
but i cant see there being a problem

hi there hows your pups doin? where your dogs ok when you had a baby.my male wasnt himself for months,he chewed is tail off an he had 2 ops on it untill he couldnt reach it.he is fine now being the baby of the house.do you think he might act strangly when i get a pup even if i show him the same attention.       mandy
